A study conducted by researchers from the University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil has revealed the structure of the so-called “blue economy” in the country—the set of economic activities that depend directly on marine resources. Using an interregional input-output model, the researchers mapped the direct and indirect impacts of these activities.
